Our roots to
the business of farming go back several generations.
John and Bob Fowler are 5th generation Fowlers.
While the original homestead still remains in production the
current operators have branched out to now manage in excess of 2500
acres of fruit. Our main emphasis is apple production. However, true to the Fowler heritage, experimentation
continues and buyers can avail themselves to good volumes of Sweet
Cherries, Prunes, and Plums. |

The business of
growing at FOWLER FARMS encompasses more than just trees.
The 6th generation is in preparation for taking their
turn at contributing to the continued success of
the operation. When
not found in a college setting, John’s son ,JD,
and Bob’s son, Austin, can be found at home on the farm
learning those things never truly found in a textbook!
As a several time
winner of the New York State GRAND CHAMPION packing award from our
State Department of Agriculture we have learned many things.
But perhaps the most important is that it is our people, each and
every employee, that make it possible for us to continue to improve |
